Is OA Making Us Dumb?

The more involved with OA we become, the less sensitive to others, the more corrupt, and the dumber we seem.

I keep coming across examples of otherwise smart publishing and publishing-adjacent people acting confused, being obtuse, or avoiding uncomfortable conclusions — and always in the service of OA.

It has made me begin to wonder if OA is making us dumb.

Here are four examples that crossed my threshold recently.
