Predictably, the transgressives at the preprint servers, seeking to validate their existence by horning into areas they don’t belong — and damn the consequences — are trying to elbow their way into the OSTP policy space, issuing a press release this week in which arXiv, bioRxiv, and medRxiv claim their servers are the answer to OSTP’s needs.

Are they not watching the news? Can they not read? Are they so blinded by techno-utopian naïveté that American national security doesn’t exist for them?
