One is older, and remains powerful, while the other has rapidly created a bubble

Last week, Ed Zitron interviewed Nik Suresh, a tech and business consultant from Australia with strong experience with various C-level and boardroom discussions about AI strategies. Suresh finds most of the discussions to be pitifully inadequate and superficial, wrapped up more in posturing than analytics and strategy.

It’s an important interview about a piece Suresh wrote last month describing “AI mania” and how it is “eviscerating global decision-making.” How? By exploiting the blind spots at the intersections of careerism, organizational politics, tech worship, and tech ignorance, which have all combined to let naked AI emperors parade about as if they are fashionistas at the Met Gala.
